Makhadzi starts the year with huge achievements at the Afrima awards.

She won the best female artist in Southern Africa at the Afrima awards that took place in Senegal.
She has also shown a huge performance in the state which attracted many people who wanted to learn a lot about Southern African music.
The amazing thing about Southern African region is that people are speaking different languages,
but they are founding a way to understand each other and speak other languages and this has helped artists to promote their music.
Makhadzi comes from the small villages of Limpopo which has turned out to be the pillar of the mzansi music because of the music that they make.
